Social Media Manager for Shoji Spa, a luxury Japanese spa and resort. When I first began working with Shoji, their Instagram was at 8,000 followers, which doubled during my time with this account. This account’s growth was accelerated by the various strategic tactics that are detailed below.

Influencer Marketing

I targeted and contacted a number of social media influencers to promote Shoji on their accounts. I conducted extensive research to identify accounts that matched the Shoji brand, and I used my communication and collaboration skills as I connected with influencers.

Giveaways

I was in charge of hosting multiple giveaways through Shoji. The most popular giveaway was done in collaboration with another account I managed at the time, Ukiah Restaurant, and had 4,500 entries.

Instagram Reels

I recorded and edited all of Shoji’s video content myself, and spent time researching trends to get Shoji’s reels onto the algorithm.
